1. We are so excited to be participating in the first-ever online day of Catholic Giving in Northeast Ohio!

The event is called We Give Catholic, and will take place on Tuesday, November 29, which is Giving Tuesday – the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, a national day of giving for nonprofits.

2. Donating to benefit is a seamless experience that you can do from your computer, tablet or smartphone at any time beginning at midnight on November 29 and continuing for a 24 hour period. Secure, tax-deductable donations will be accepted on the website weGiveCatholic.org. By designating "Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine" , the money you contribute will benefit us directly and place us in the running to receive cash prizes throughout the day.

3. There will be at least $50,000 in prize money given away on that day as we participate in a friendly competition with other Diocesan nonprofit organizations.

4. All participating organizations and donors will be able to see which organizations are leading in each prize category by watching the “leaderboard” online. Most prizes will be determined by the number of people who give to the organization. The more people who donate for "Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine", the better chance we have at winning additional cash for our organization. There is also one $3,000 prize given for the largest donation of the day.

5. We encourage you to look at our web page which can be found on weGiveCatholic.org. There you will see our special project/program needs, which are . We look forward to making November 29 a great day for Catholic giving and for Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine.

Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine

The Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes (Euclid, Ohio) is a haven of prayer and peace in the midst of a busy world. Our Blessed Mother awaits and greets each person with her love and graces. The Shrine is administered by the Sisters of the Most Holy Trinity.
Hi, Everyone, We at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine would like to thank you for considering us on "Giving Tuesday." We have some definite needs. You might not see this spot, but we have a porch/loading dock connected to our back kitchen door. The wall holding the porch/loading dock is collapsing. We have not been able to repair/replace this area because of lack of funds. The donations given on "Giving Tuesday" will go toward this project. It may not be glamorous, but it is necessary. Thank you so much and we will offer you what we give everyone who comes here: our prayers! All are invited to receive the peace and grace given to those who visit or Shrine.
