To You be Praise.
To You be Glory.
To You be Thanksgiving.
O Blessed Trinity.
100th Anniversary Jubilee
Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine will celebrate its 100th anniversary with celebrations planned throughout 2026. The observance kicks off on Sunday, May 31, when Bishop Ed Malesic of the Diocese of Cleveland will visit the Shrine to celebrate the 9:30 a.m. Mass followed by a meet-and-greet reception at St. Ann’s Dining Hall. Then on Sunday, October 25, we will be doubly blessed by a visit from the Auxiliary Bishop Michael Woost, who will celebrate mass, benediction and the rosary.
To keep the spirit of the Shrine in the spotlight all year long, the Sisters will include a statue personally blessed by Pope Francis in the entrance processions at mass and on display in the chapel for people to venerate and pray over. Also look for announcement of a book signing from a local author, Jennifer Boresz, who has written a book about the Shine as part of History Press. The Sisters were interviewed extensively for the book, which will be available for sale soon and will live within the archives at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in downtown Cleveland.
About
The Sisters of the Most Holy Trinity
The Sisters of the Most Holy Trinity are Roman Catholic nuns whose purpose is the glorification of the Most Holy Trinity and elementary education. Founded in 1762 in Rome, the group came to the United States in 1920 and its Motherhouse is set on the glorious grounds of the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in Euclid, Ohio. The shrine and grotto are replicas of the original shrine in Lourdes, France, where Mary appeared to St. Bernadette. In addition to protecting, maintaining and glorifying the shrine and providing religious services, the Sisters are active in the diocese and the community.

Pilgrim of Hope Passport Section
You might not know that we are one of the locations of the cross of the Jubilee Year.
Look for the cross in the sanctuary. You can come through the chapel door and pray the creed, an Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be for the intentions of the Pope. Have the intention of the separation from sin, perform an act of charity, go to Mass and communion and go to confession within two weeks before or after your visit to receive the indulgence.
If you go to the gift shop you can receive a passport that will show how many Holy Door locations you have visited. The theme of the Holy Year is Pilgrims of Hope. What a beautiful gift the Church has given us. Do come and receive theindulgence. This is so appropriate during Lent.

Donate
The shrine and grounds are owned and operated solely by the 15 Sisters living in the adjacent convent, aided 100% by private donations, which can be made directly here. Ongoing renovation and maintenance keep the shrine and grounds in pristine condition. The Sisters of the Most Holy Trinity is a 501(c)3 charity and all of the funds donated go directly to the charity.
